18 yrs. . .few. . .man you're old. j/k. lol. that's TPI if I remember correctly. had a whole bunch of tq but little hp. lt1's and ls1's could hit 160+ no problem. but with the aero numbers and hp numbers we are quoted, say quoted because hp could be more, 155 is on a real good day (ie. down hill, tail wind, cool day).

155 is plenty spanking fast for a V6. Put some wings on it and it will fly at that speed.
![]() Nice to hear feedback about the rear suspension. The design kinda reminds me a bit of the C4 vette Dana's but with a coil over and a couple of cheaper to produce components. |

Heck my Civic Si will go 135mph. I can see the V6 doing 150mph with no problem. |

Most cars have those speeds governed because of the tire rating. They can't exceed the safety envelope for the tires otherwise it's a safety hazard.

hmm that was a great review to read...cant wait to hear the v6
people keep arguing in thier posts about how the v6 is going to be priced with the mustang gt and the ss will be 5k over the mustang gt...they are in for a suprise i hope :-) those posts from the MT site not here

i hav no doubt that it could reach 155+...... i jus hope they change the exhaust note.... dont like how they said like it sounded like an import V6, thats what im trying to leave behind with my V6 accord.

I like the euro v6 sound myself. The only other V6 that even sounds close to good is the Ford 4.0's.
That might also be RPM's you heard. As the powerband goes up high with this engine. |
