Yeah I have parked beside another 5th Gen a couple of times too lol. I park away from everyone else too, but I do'nt mind if someone parks beside me. As long as I don't find any dents.

I park in an extra-wide corner spot at work and almost without fail, some d-bag parks his pick-up in the spot next to mine every day - but parks partially over into my spot. So all the trouble I go through to get a little extra swing-room gets voided. I was thinking I could buy a junker and leave it in that next spot so he'd not be able to mess with me anymore.

The more you make yourself a target the more people will try and make you a target.

I parked amongst 3 mustangs Friday night at a local movie theater. They had an ideal spot away from most of the traffic. When I came out two of the three mustangs were pulling out and got a friendly wave from one of them.
My biggest fear is kids accidently letting a door swing open or something. I get nervous when an SUV parks next to me and kids pile out

Maybe the guy in the 4Runner likes his 4runner and wants to park next to someone which he thinks will not ding his car. He found a nice looking Camaro to park next to so he's confident that he's safe.

the dude knows that u live there and the last thing he wants to do is damage the neighbor car. If people know u around where u live, trust me they will try their best not to damage your car, but that's if you are not an asshole yourself. The only thing you have to worry is about parking in the mall where random people park next to you. Those people that you don't know, don't know you therefore don't care about ur car. park far out in the malls where nobody want to park

I have to park at a large parking garage at work, and I always look for the nicer, recently washed cars to park next to. I figure they have enough respect for their car to not ding up mine.

It's either that or your Camaro is slummin it...

to clarify, you put dings in someone else's car/property simply because they parked next to you in a public parking lot?!?

...ladies and gentlemen, i think we've found the true "A**clown"!
