Well I don't think it fits in well with the rear of the 2010 but for the 05-09 models it looks okay. I prefer the black out panel from Saleen for the 2010. I just try to clean the rear gas cap regularly but it does get annoying after awhile

Me neither. The new GT *may* gain some weight over the current one, but the current one is what, 3500 lbs or so? Even if it hits 3600 or 3650, it's still 200-250 lbs lighter than a Camaro SS. There are a lot of variables obviously, but it's within reason to expect the new GT to be faster than a Camaro SS, and perhaps significantly so. I hope not. I can't remember a time when Chevy didn't offer a Camaro that was faster than a Mustang GT!

I think the late 80;s the Cobras killed the IROCs. I could be wrong because the alcohol has taken control of me.

Currently, the Camaro(v8) dominates every mustang under a GT500, but if they get 400 hp in 2011, it's a drivers race; and that's considering if you didn't add any mods to your car.

By 2011, I'll have a new exhaust, headers, CAI, and carbon fiber....lol, the new mustang won't be any competition for me.

I think Chevy has Ford price wise......you can get an SS for 32,000 out the door, how much more will the new 2011 Mustang GT be? I willing to bet it'll jump past the 34,000 mark and get close to 40. So on the street you may encounter mostly v6 mustangs....and occasionally, a v8. SS owners, must we forget, everyone is not riding big! lol

By 2011, I'll have a new exhaust, headers, WHIPPLE....lol, your modded SS won't be any competition for me.

LMAO

oh and sorry guy you can get a GT for 26k... so much for a new GT starting at 34k... keep dreaming

That's odd because alot of people were saying that actually IS the reason it was so heavy.

also funny how that superior chassis/body design yielding unrivaled rigidity. didn't seem to help the handling aspect of the car. :/

I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 23-26K with the upgraded GT500 parts, more powerful engine, better fuel economy, inflation.

I'm guessing all the tests you're basing the "Mustang has superior handling", which is implied by your "+1" comment, had the track pack on them. I honestly haven't seen a test at all that involves a GT without a track pack equipped.
