Okay, So I called Superchips and asked what was going on. The gentleman was extremely polite considering I was a little on the edgy side.

He told me that this unit was only ready for the Auto V-8 and the programming is not done for the manual. They are hoping to finish it up soon, but he was not sure at all about the timeframe. He said they were having problems with the manual.

Scott, nowhere in here did you mention that... I sure wished you had.

Kudos to your Customer Service tech guy though for keeping it "Real"

GODDAMN IT!!! I paid this guy $325 for a tuner and now I cannot get a hold of him and NO tuner. His account is suspended. Can anybody help me out with getting a bold of this guy? Did I just get royally screwed? Anybody else have any dealings with him? I thought he was an Authorized Superchips dealer.

Thanks

I apologize for the inconvenience. I will personally push R&D on this issue and see what I can do to get this resolved promptly for you.

Please PM me your tuner SN.

I received the email informing me that an update was available for my car. I updated it and programmed my car, haven't driven it much yet, but so far so good.

The remaining 6 speed programming that was not originally released in the product should be online as of Tuesday night. If anyone is still having an issue tuning please contact me immediately through PM with your tuner serial numbers.

We did have some files when the product was originally released but found out that GM had more out there than originally found so we do apologize for the inconvenience some of you have experienced waiting for files to work.

Not sure if we need anymore 6 speeds for further testing at this point due to the recent release on Tuesday but feel free to PM me some contact info and I will forward it on to our vehicle acquisition director working with our R&D on this so he can contact you if there is still a need.

Scott

It was a cinch to set up and use, and I am neither mechanic nor computer geek. All I've used it for was to.... uh.... turn off a certain aspect of the computer that I don't want my dealer to know about.... have not done any performance tune. What I did do resulted in a 10,000% improvement in the the drivability of the car, no noticable drop in fuel economy, and an ear to ear permagrin that had been lacking up to that point. Just do it.

This tuner rocks!

I have the flashpaq in my 06 TBSS, i know that it's not a Camaro SS, But it dose have the base corrvet 6.0L motor. When i installed in in Tbss, man it woke up that motor! At wot this thing is a monster, I also installed a servo kit in the trans and when it second you have to hold on for dear life, twice i almost ended up in the curb, I had to put line press. back to stock, but second still spins the rear tires, and every time i had to take it in to the dealer I just put the stock tune in and no problem. Once I had to take in in to repalce the radio (free) and the second time I had to replace the cat on the driver side (free) and once cause it would not start, and this was with the tune in it, they checked it out and had to change the battire. (free) No mention to the computer being tuned in the service notes. I will be buying a programer from Superchips for my Camaro 2SS/RS M6 soon.
