i dont care.

Who needs a top dog fighter?

If you have the money to buy the top dog, then you have more than enough money to buy an SS and turn it into a top dog.

The Camaro is back, thats enough for me.

I feel so ass backwards sometimes. I am a liberal democrat and I want there to be a Z28. Weird. This freakin' sucks, though. I guess it won't matter in thirty or forty years when we'll 'supposedly' be seeing hybrids or electric cars with 500+ HP motors. ... hey, that's what they're saying will happen by then, don't take my word for it.

The Z28 could easily be heading back to its roots....a road racer. Not the Top Dog.

Many of us here care. I do not want to buy a corvette, no other reason than I just don't really want a vette, and money has nothing to do with it. I currently have 3 "project vehicles", and I don't want another one. I want a factory high horse power car. The argument of the LS3 "can with after market parts put down great numbers" is not valid. Most V8's will put down a big number with after market parts.
The CTS-V exists, there is no reason not to have a high output Camaro. All the pieces exist. I think GM would sell far more high end Camaro's than Cadillacs. As for now i'm keeping the faith.

Rumor mill says Chrysler may sell the Viper, I would guess GM may be in the same boat with the Vette....Especially after the first post comment.
Bob Lutz, “So if someone else bought Viper, they could sell to capacity, but Chrysler couldn’t. This is why we are concerned about Corvette."
But besides that, I'm a Camaro guy, always have been, always will be. Vette is cool, just not my thing.

That would be terrible. The Viper is JUST 'newish' enough to possibly make it under some other brand, just MAYBE. But the 'Vette under some other make? No. Not gonna work. They'd be better of putting it out of its misery.

They can get creative, setting up side businesses and what not. It won't technically be part of GM and Chevy, but we'll know where it comes from.

I pray to god that's the case. and have been pushing for that for a while now. still could be considered top dog depending on what they do though.

fbodfather has the sign in sheet. I hear he'll be at Indy in a couple of weeks.
If you're disappointed, just go to the photochop pages and look at all the fine cars, I feel good again. Just look at that good lookin machine we got.
