but not everyone who wants a mustang/camaro is a hardcore drag racing fiend. if they want the car now then they want it now if they were concerned with the HP they wouldn't be in it right now.

Good point, ive actually seen this before, TONS with Edmunds and Inside Line, they're pretty rediculous, these numbers were from Motortrend, they're a pretty reliable source but still the times seem shaky to me even with the extra weight...either way the 2011 GT Mustang will be the same power basically and will also be lighter, as well as much cheaper, and if the upgrades to the Track Pack pan out in our favor it might be like buying a 2010 Roush LOL

Another thing i agree with...i totally dont see why people are buying the 2010s, unless they do make the 5.0 an upper model like a Boss or Mach and keep a base 4.6 GT then id suspect current GT owners would be pretty P.O.ed right about now lol

or some 2010 GT buyers are getting great deals (under 30k out the door) when an equivalently priced 2011 gt will be around 40 out the door. ill take the hit on performance for affordability

Agreed, one of my friends just bought a decently loaded GT premium with track pack and got it for 6k off sticker

I got a whopping 25% off MSRP on my new 2010 GT convertible plus $4500 above wholesale on my trade in. Hard to pass up. Even if I did have to drive it home during a snow storm.
I can buy some new offset rims and tires plus a few good mods and still be in well under what a 2011 will cost.

I ain't scared! If it puts down over 500RWHP with just a tune then I might be a little heated.

I'm exited about the new motor. It lets the Stang shine and it helps you all out too since it keeps GM on it's toes.

I wouldn't be if I had a GT500, but if I had a terminator... those two could end up being close.

Why would a Terminator owner with an 03-04 model mustang be mad? It's natural progression and the Terminator still has the easy mod advantage.

If GM wants to put out a car - they should put back the Trans -Am with a supercharger and call it a true RAMAIR - including the Aussie GTO - I will say this - There is not one GM that could take on a Shelby 500 with a supercharger - This is coming from a GM guy like me - huh who would figure with a name like Ramair5GTO - if anyone knows what a Ramair 5 is. LOL
