yeah like a hellion twin turbo kit and 3 inch bassani exhaust putting over 1100RWHP and 1000rwtq(i read the MMFF Article) that's how I know and I've found a few Terminators under 30k .which is an option I'm seriously considering getting over a newer car.

BTW that Hellion car is using the stock supercharger with 66mm Snails,Now imagine a Fully built and stroked 5.1L with the optional 76mm and a Kenne Bell Mammoth 2.8L,beefed up trans and clutch and your selection of rear gears in abulletproof ford 9 inch on slicks?

would any camaro or vette owners on here be scared of facing something like that?
I would

It's just the fact of a GT being equal to a Cobra, and it seemed like every terminator owner in that thread was trying every way possible to debunk the rumors.

it doesn't bug me none. I'm looking forward to it even though I'll probably never own one.

My guess is that it wont out perform an 03-04 cobra stock for stock anyway. It will probably be close but I would guess the edge will go to the cobra. Also the cobra will have better mod-ability being they are FI.

Didnt smith run a 12.4 @ 114 stock in an 03? They also put down rwhp numbers about equal to an ls3. They were under rated.

If the new gt can trap 115+ stock I will bow to it.

Yeah it was a 12.4 stock. I'm sure the terminator will end up beating it, but still it will be close. I'm guessing a tenth of a second close, or maybe even less. Only time will tell...

05-09 Mustang GT + CAI-Tune + O/R X-Pipe + gears = 12.7 to 12.9

CAI + Tune + UDP's = 12.8's
CAI + Tune + Drag Radials = 12.8's

neat.

bone stock ls1 fbody = 12.8

bone stock with drag radials= 12.6

glad you admit ford is still behind

Current Mods - 2005 Mustang GT (Auto) 70,000 miles and run 12.299 @ 110 mph. (3600 lbs w/Driver)no weight reduction other than remove spare and jack. I would run 12.8 with Intake, Gears and DR's

JLT II Cold Air Intake
Steeda UDP's
Steeda CMDP
JBA Long Tube Headers w/JBA Catted H-pipe
FRPP 4.10 Gears
Spyder Aluminum DS
TCI Super Street Fighter 3500 Converter
275/50x17 M&H Drag Radials

Yes Ford is behind but they had no competition since 2002..
and the Modular 4.6L is actually is a very old platform and it is out dated. (introduced in 1991 )
the LSx motor was introduced in 1997 so it's actually a newer motor than fords Mod motor.
and I am a GM Guy, This is my First Ford, and I do Love this car.

And I owned a LS1 fBody and it never ran close to 12.8... an LS2 I could beleive.

So if you can't do it, it's impossible? lol. They had performance competition (GTO), just not sales competition.

Well I can think of a 2,048 horsepower Impala SS. If we are talking fully built here.

New 2011 Ford Mustang V6 Video

I think it looks good and sounds good even at automatic transmission as seen in the video

For a Mustang it looks better than what they are selling now... I don't know what the difference is between the looks of the 2010 and this but it just looks better to me...
With all the extras on this one I would say this is comparable to a 2LT with all the options...Not bad..

It's cross-eyed, and the rear end still looks terrible.

I would have considered a mustang but I can't stand that rear end. Good thing I won't have to look at one from behind.
