Those that really know the car, know how to tell the v8, but you can really get some people riled up if you say something about the v8 automatic

Funny you should mention camry's my other car is a 2000 camry. I love that car, and finally did some mods to it last year. I have to admit though I hate how the Gen 5 Camry's (2002-2006) look. Mine is pretty unique. I added the spoiler when i first got it, and last year, I got the black halo headlights.

One of the rarest things to see on my Generation Camry is fog lights.

Anyhow, I don't think you'll see the camaro's as plentiful as the camry. The simple fact that the backseat is really cramped should help with that.

If it wasn't mass produced a lot of us wouldn't be able to afford it. Keep building them, we are a special family.

But what does that have to do with the price of tea in china?

The gov has already said they are not and dont wanna be in the business of selling cars, they want GM to make as much money as they can, and buy the government out of it.

And even then if the gov did start making decisions, the decision to make a car limited to make it exclusive would never happen. It would be all about profit.

lol my dad also has a 2000 toyota Camry which has been in more accidents then any car he has ever owned...lol...some one crashed into it 2 weeks after we got, Ive crashed it into our garage when i was learning to drive, my moms cuzin borrowed it and crashed it into a guard rail on the freeway, last halloween some guy ran a red light and crashed into it, one time at Sams Club someone drove one of those metal carts into it and put a huge dent in two of the doors, at church someone backed up into it, and again at church someone scrapped the whole right side putting dents on the whole passengers side, and two more just cant remember them right now, but he still loves it...but he also likes my moms jeep which he bought her this past valentines day and my camaro which he got me for my first car...

I say just enjoy the Camaro. Mine should be arriving next week or so and I'm really excited about owning a fantastic ride.

If a company wants to make money, then mass production is going to happen.

Don't worry about it. Happy holidays.

I wasn't exactly talking about "making it exclusive"... I was talking about the push to "green", and the Camaro ain't exactly the poster child. Even the S. GREEN is only going to come in a v6... is there a reason for that?

And you'll have a hard time convincing me that the 100% owners of a company (GM) have no say or better yet, don't want to have any say in the company which they own.

I hope for our sake the government does get out of the car making business, asap! But as it stands, they are in it... in it DEEP!

Why does someone always seem to feel the need to 'stereotype' Camaro owners???!!!...

It is highly insulting to me, as a 'GIRL', to insinuate anything negative about someone's preference for a V6 or V8, or automatic, or manual...

Bottom line, WE ALL DRIVE CAMAROS!!!...

'Enough said, period, end of story'....

Thank you very much...

I don't really enjoy low end models of "muscle cars." But not everyone can afford higher end models. The one thing I seem to say over and over is that no matter how many of these cars are on the road, a lot less of them will have lots of aftermarket parts and modifications. That's one way to set yourself apart and have a hell of good time working on your vehicle making you enjoy it even more.

Make your car faster.
Make your car handle better.
Make your car's interior more comfortable.
Make your car look better.

All of that will make you enjoy a sexy beast of a Camaro much much more.

Honestly, I don't care what other people drive. I care what *I* drive. The more the merrier. If a million people drove a 2010 Camaro... it means an awesome aftermarket economy is coming. So I get to drive a Camaro and have a bazillion options for aftermarket touchups? Win/Win in my book.

V6 owners are gonna loooove you. 300 horse is damn respectable on just 6 cylinders. The older z28's and mustangs had around what 230 horse give or take. Funny how just two cylinders make a car that much cooler. Whether you know it or not, these manufacturers are in business to make money, not make a few a great car and then not keep selling them. I never understand this mentality of thinking, and Id watch out because their are turbo kits and other parts in development for the 6 bangers so I wouldnt get to cocky or you might get surprised one of these days.

No offense to you personally, but I feel you're being pretty selfish in your feelings on the matter.

Ferrari and Lamborghini have the ability to keep a car limited and exclusive as thats how their business is built, GM doesn't have that luxury.

why o why, can't people just be happy with my decisions and what I want to drive? why do they ALWAYS feel the need to tell me what 'I' 'should' get........and what 'I' should drive...Why do people always feel the need to nit pick? makes me sick.........its not like I don't know the V8 has more hp....*rolls eyes*..........or that the V6 is better on gas mileage.....*rolls eyes*......These are things we all know.............heh.........lol
Buy whatever makes you happy. If people cant respect you for that...........then those people can't respect themselves and their own choices.............

As far as the mass produced camaros are concerned. I say the more they build the better. If you have a good thing going, build the crap out of it, it will sell no worries......
Its all about the car design, the design of the car is what really sells. If your going for exclusitivity thats fine, but don't tell me its any better just because its 'exclusive'.
If I see a Ferrari and a Camaro side by side I don't think 'O my, that Ferrari is better than the Camaro because I don't see as many Ferrari around', I normaly think O cool, A Camaro and a Ferrari. My excitement is equal towards both cars because I like them both, etc................If anything,.......I like the Ferrari LESS because I don't see as many of them around..........

If this car was not mass produced, then all of us here would be paying a lot more money for this car than we currently are...

Mass production = lower prices (Economies of large scale chapter in Econ)...
