I found that out back in Oct, like driving on Marbles on the Summers.. And the V6 has posi.

Today did the same sharp 90 turn and hard acceleration and the winter tires broke loose but it straightened out nicely with some minimal attention.

Sure nice to see that rear end come back into line without much effort.

So much more fun than FWD.

+1 on modern day traction control! in my 94Z it was rough, nowadays the car is a great helper on its own.

Alot may think it's warm here but at 5500 ft we have had snow and temps in the teens. My car is not on blocks but all apart for mods right now. I sure miss driving it!!!

Yeah it's a problem with the SS's and any V-6 with the RS package because they get the 20 inch SUMMER ONLY tires.

If you get to anything lower than about 5 degrees above freezing, you may as well be driving with a cookie sheet

Unless you are on winter tires, or live somewhere where winter doesn't involve near or less then 5C temps, don't ignore this statement.

Oh, summer tires are all fine and dandy in the low temps they were not made for. They will still road hold to a certain point, but when it hits the fan... and you need them, they are the first to give up the go! and whhheeeee we have another "i wrecked my car" thread.

These guys with the Summers in Winter are like the 4X4 who passes everyone and then you see them rolled in the ditch.

Bald tires........ " but I have 4 x4 "

I have a friend in So. Florida who always tells me how great it is there. I think I'll pass on summers with 110 degree heat, 100% humidity and bugs the size of tuna cans in "Gods waiting room." At least not yet.

It's not just driving your own car and being careful either, why risk some other idiot smashing your Camaro if you don't have to. UNLESS this is your only driver there's no reason to be a manly type hero, and if this is your only driver why in the heck did you buy a sports car to be a daily driver in snow?
