So will they offer single zone auto ac, or will it all be manual? I'm 50/50 on whether I'd spring for that option.

Fastball, check out the interview of Cheryl Pilcher in Automobile mag. She is Chevy Camaro Product Manager. If I understand correctly she is saying that bluetooth is available through the Boston Accoustics sound system that comes in the loaded SS. I wonder if that means the sound upgrade is available on other models or not.http://www.automobilemag.com/new_and...wer/index.html

Yep. We're missing a few things there. No biggie. It'll be there later.
I'm curious to know what body color roof ditch molding will be. |

Can you tell us what "LAUNCH CONTROL" actually is. I understand the traction control sport modes ect as the Vette has these. But what and how exactly does Launch control work. My decsion on which transmission to buy hinges on exactly what this is for the 6spd manual a my car will see alot of dragstrip use. I would "GREATLT appreceate a detailed explanation of how this works.

The two, well I guess for lack of a better word, stripes on the roof. They are either dark gray or black on the non RS cars and start at the windshield and run to the back window about 9" away from each door. On the RS they paint these to match the car.

i can see your point but after using my parents Nav in thier new tahoe i would rather have one built in. its cleaner and increases resale.

Contrary to popular belief it actually REDUCES resale. By the time the car is ready to be sold into the used market the software is usualy so out of date that it does not work, also most MFR navs use disks that can be misplaced or lost in the transaction. Ask any car salesman, they hate having to sell a used car with nav in it.

well with the newer ones gm is sending disks for free so i dont think thats really a problem especially since you never have a reason to take the diskout anyways.

Beforte my response I have to say that the info I've gotten from this here has been fantastic. I've been following this forum for a while and the Camaro since about 6 months after the concept reveal.
I finally figured it was time to join in on the fun. ![]() Hello to all and thanks for all of the great information. While my purchase won't be decided by whether there is a built in nav it would be a major plus. In my expedition I have the built in nav and in my wife's car we have a high end garmin that we use. The portability of the Garmin is nice, but except for the POI my built in nav is so much better. It much cleaner appearance wise, plus the convenience of it always being there is fantastic since you never have to deal with forgetting it. There are a lot of other reason why I prefer built in as well, but I won't bore you. And to people that say nav's are only for trips I have to say that they are fantastic for getting around traffic ![]() Needless to say everyone has there own opinion and this is just my two cents. For me I prefer the built in, but I have friends who have there own reasons for preferring the aftermarket ones. It's great to finally join the community and I can't wait till next year.
