Also, you should look into getting a credit card - something with no annual fee and who cares what the interest rate is (you'll pay it all the way off every month). I have a card that I use to make all of my purchases and then pay off the entire balance every month. I don't suggest this for you since you'd be new to credit cards, maybe only put gas on it - and make sure you check the balance online every couple of days so you don't go over what you usually spend.

This will help to build your credit and in a couple months you'll have a better chance at getting a loan.

Just be patient, I have also found a few out there being traded. They were all V8 and I need a daily driver so opted for the V6. I also have seen a totaled SS....I'm eyeing up the mufflers and interior. Just about everything will work on the LS with a computer tweak.

You really wanna know how to get it done? Work for GM, and GMAC has to help you. Most banks aren't going to touch you because they no longer offer these kind of equity loans.

BTW, I trust that your trade is paid for?

Also, you have full coverage auto ins? Have you got an insurance quote on the camaro for your age bracket.

Yes my trade is Paid for. Ive got my insurance quote and all that. What do you mean work for GM?

i had to finance exactly 9k for my current car when i bought it last april. it took a while til i found a bank that wanted to finance me. no co-signer, ~2yrs credit history, ~700 score. don't know if the situation has changed by now...

If you are employed by GM, weather it's corporate, manufacturing, sales, whatever.... GMAC will help GM Employees obtain a loan. So, if push comes to shove apply for a job.
