Used Ls in a couple months?

Hey guys, I wasn't able to get financed without a cosigner :( for my LS because im 18 and have no credit. Im going to college and working full time and im looking for another part time job(thats how bad I want this car). Anyways I have 3k saved up so far plus my current car to sell (hopefully 13-14k).

anyways question is do you think I can expect to find a used SW LS ? and for around what price Im aiming to buying in March. I haven't seen any used Ls's yet... Im praying to find one with 10-15k miles for around 20k? what are the chances lol

I haven't posted here in a while(trying to keep my mind off it, yet im surfing this site 3 hours a day lol)... "I will get a camaro" haha thanks everyone

Check out this deal on this LS dang!

Just keep your eye open and keep saving. At worst you save a few extra months and buy a new one. If you shop around right now and line up the discounts $21,500 should be possible (not counting TT&L).

there are a couple really good dealers on this site.

look some of them up and see what they can do for you.

camaroscotty and becky have very good reps. They should also be able to tell you what you can do to get discounts (signing up for usaa, credit union...etc).

Also you might want to wait until the next year models (things like the verts) come out. I would imagine a decent amount of people will want to trade in for those, so you might be able to find one for a good price.

Keep your eyes open on eBay also. I got my LS used with 1.3k on it for $18500. It had a clean title, no damage . Even talked to the previous owners. They won the car in a contest an it wasn't what they wanted. Moded wheels, shifter and cool air intake. Using this till the verts are out and I can use this as my DD.

Wait, you have 3k, and you are expecting 13 for your trade? That's 16k. LS's run around 24xxx plus TTL (if your trading in you will only be taxed on difference of trade from new car and trade) so you should only be financing around 9-10k. A bank should jump all over that, even without a cosigner. Try to go to person in a bank. The deal is structured right, You have great collateral, and you are finacing under 50% of MSRP. You would be looking around 250-300 payments a month so as long as you are making 1500-2000 a month should be easy.

let them know how much you are putting down on it. They will be much more willing to give you a 10k loan if they know you are putting down 16k already (cash +trade).

A reasonably good loan officer would ask you all of those questions. The two most important numbers on the loan are the value of the car (what they would get if they had to repo) and how much you will be asking to loan out.

Since you're going to want to finance less than 50% of the car, even with no credit you should be able to find someone out there that'll do this.
