Are you saying 45 hp gain from headers and high flow cats?

Doug Thorley Shorties

I installed Doug Thorley Shorties a while back. Is there anything to gain if I pull the fuses on my L99?

I will certainly reset your fuel trims, and Knock Learned, and return you to the high octane timing map at least until you get some shitty gas again.

Ted.

On a Trinity you can watch Knock counts.

Ted is it true that the shorties give you more low end torque and the LTs more high end HP? I am not too concerned about the high end but care more about the low end torque. If the shorties will provide me more low end torque then the LTs Id go with them. I also have to worry about Colorado emissions so in that reguard the shrties are better as they dont mess with the Cats. Not sure if High flow cats would pass emissions !

No Just the oposite, Long Primary tubes make more torque everywhere.

The manifolds and stock cats can be reinstalled any time
