Yes sweetie, that is my car. There is a member here named Hazman, his thread is titled "Playing with Crayons" and he makes those jpg files for the members from pictures of our cars. There are a few more pictures of my car earlier in this thread on page 8 or 9 I think. Just don't be too mad at me for driving her on gravel and a dirt track

You are going to love this car when you get it, be sure to adjust your mirrors properly it makes the world of difference with a car like this. I had never seen this before and was very glad someone linked this information.

Thanks for the info, Abygale. I'm going to try the mirror thing. I've been worried about visibility since the day I decided to buy.

This is exactly how I've been using my mirrors for the last couple years. People will get in my car and say, "Can you see out your side mirror because it's set up perfectly for me". I just say yup, that's how it's supposed to be.

On a car like this with difficult sightlines out the rear, mirror placement is absolutely critical.

This will give you the view of having your mirrors turned out but you will also have the close view of the side of the car for backing up. THE REAR WINDOW IS USELESS IN THE CAMARO FOR BACKING UP. YOU NEED THE SIDE MIRRORS SO THAT YOU CAN USE THEM FOR BACKING AND PARKING. Try turning the mirrors out like that person suggests and then try backing into your garage or parallel parking.
Do you spend the majority of your time backing into a parking spot or driving around on the street where you need to see your blind spots?? Here's a solution...when you do need to back into a parking spot move the mirrors in. I'd rather not accidentally hit a car by merging over cause I can't see him in my mirrors or that ridiculously small rear side window.

Frankly, my previous car also had really bad blind spots so I'm kinda used to it. I adjust the mirrors to cover as much ground as possible, but I must admit, I'm still a habitual "head-turner". Don't think I'll ever wean myself of that habit!!

And here's a big HELLO to all of you wonderful Camaro ladies!! This is my first time checking into this thread -- Happy Holidays to all of you!

I have to disagree on this one. I can put that car right where I want it with the mirrors out. no problem.

And for the lovely Lil C who will be getting a post backup sensor production car, she already has a little more help with the backing up problem. Once she has her car for a bit, with her mirrors adjusted properly, she can then decide if she needs to make any changes to her mirrors. I find that they work just great as long as you have them properly adjusted.

Cause you always have to keep trying! You also know that making up from the argument usually makes the argument worth it!

Hi ladies!

I should chime in here for my wife Jennifer. We have 6 kids together and she just finished her Masters as a Speech Language Pathologist.

She has coveted this car for a LONG time. So now that she is working again, we went to the dealer and picked up a black 2SS/RS.

I am a lucky man with a very smart wife that appreciates a fine automobile. She'll never join a forum like this, she is content with driving her Camaro all over. She leaves the "geeky" stuff to me. Guess thats why I drive the mini-van...lol

Sometimes, I'll come up with some excuse, and cruise around the streets pretending the car is mine.
