Not true. I have been making custom hood patterns to go around the vinyl stripes... that way the clear bra seems up to the stripe. its not that difficult to do and any "Good" installer should be able to do it without any problems. Not getting a clear bra on the rest of your vehicle due to having vinyl stripes seems kind of crazy to me. You would have to repaint your car once the chips start to accumulate (if you want to keep it looking new) and would have to remove the vinyl to respray.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I am meeting with my vendor today, and will figure it out. With the hocky stripe package, he will have to do some custom patterns

I have had mine done. I have a three piece custom on the hood, front end including the lights, and behind the wheels. See: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=clear+bra

StretchBratm is a quality nylon bra designed for the front of your Camaro. The best feature is that this bra can be installed and removed within 3 minutes, making great for car show. Simply install it for the drive and remove it for the show!

There are three screws that hold the fender liner in place and we replace those screws with a snap head screw. So the mask snaps in the wheel well area and there are two plastic clips at the top of the mask that hook to the upper grill bar. That is the initial installation. Once that is done, simply snap in place to re-install or remove.

Folds up and can be stored right in your glove box!

This product is "better than Vinyl or Leather and cheaper than Film" ; "Made in the U.S.A".; "backed by the manufacturers warranty and customer satisfaction policy".

We want to point out although the product is new to the Camaro market it has been successfully time-tested in the Corvette market for the last nine years.

I get the clear bras, but wow what is that? I think I would sooner have stone chips, sorry. I do like the clear bras though.

I'm scheduled to have my clearbra/venturashield installed this Sat. Going with full hood, front bumper, etc. installed, along with window tints. I'm looking forward. to it.

I have 6000 miles on my Camaro and it already had 3 chips in the paint. One pretty noticable. I am going to get it touched up and then clear bra it. I think it will be useful. GM paint seems to chip easy.

Thom from HTP AutoWorks will do you right. Only way to go. He just completed the first part of the Venture Shield on mine and it looks great. Will finish the rocker panels up to the gills, behind the rear wheels, the door handles and cups in a couple of weeks then she can hit the road.

installed 3M last week... taking it off next week....

scratches WAY too easily so its noticeable since body paint doesn't have any any scratches and minimal swirl marks...
