Header Prices Dropping...

so if the 1 7/8 JBA LT Headers with cats coated and complete are now being sold for $1200 shipped (or less).......who will be the first vendor/sponsor to offer ARH or Kooks for that price?

i see Kooks 1 3/4 LT's with cats on Ebay for a little over $1300 now...

come on venders.......offer up some after Christmas deals!

Nobody will. ARH, Kooks, etc have high prices because they claim better qulaity and power. It is their position in the market, they want to make a lot of money with each sale. Personally, I'd be VERY surprised if any of them ever drop their prices before the gen 6 Camaro is released.

And $1300 for Kooks LTs is not a deal, is it? Just headers and cats, it does not include a cat-back or even an x-pipe. The same Dynatech set-up is $1100, the same Pacesetter set-up is $630. Of course Pacesetters are not high quality stainless steel.

the 1 7/8 LT's with cats (no x-pipe or catback) are $1400 or more in Kooks or ARH. i like the ARH with the x-pipe but $1800?

the gen 4 Camaros and Vette Kooks and ARH LT's with cats (no x-pipe) are under $1000.....they have already come down quite a bit since they rolled out for the 5th Gen.

they will loose sales if they don't. i will wait a little while, but JBA will get my sale if they don't come down!

I dont think they will lose that many sales. Everyone is not always looking for the best deal to save money.

As much as I want a good deal, I'd prefer better performance. I made the same hard decision on my Cobalt when I opted for Magnaflow instead of DC Sports for my exhaust. Both had respectable gains, but Magnaflow was the superior product, so I went the Magnaflow route, costing me a lot extra.

agreed, but many will go for the cheap price and not take into account quailty. I would perfer both quality and low price, but... not going to happen... at least not soon.

Texas Speed has come out with a full exhaust headers to mufflers, all stainless with Magnaflow mufflers, offroad style with no cats is less than $1500 for the full exhaust all the way to the tips. With cats they are in the $1600 range. I live where there is no emmissions testing, only thing cats are good for where I live is taking care of rodents.

I've always been a JBA Fan myself but I would be interested in trying something different with the new 2SS thing time around possibly, more than likly, it's the mufflers that are giving me the hard ass time.

I wonder what No Muffler but 3.50" Straignt Pipe, Axle Back to the Tips with like 1" Holes Drilled Out On the Bottom Of The Pipe Every Inch or so would sound like . (LOL It's Late,.. I'm tired)

The Texas Speed header system is the answer to your guys request for lower pricing. The TSP system prices out less than the headers & x pipe only systems & over $800 less than the Kooks system with x pipe & mufflers! You get a fully stainless system with high flow cats, 3" x pipe, 3" magnaflow mufflers 3" axle back & tips all for less than competitors header & x pipe only!!

i think just the opposite. nobody's doing much now, hence slower sales.
