Keeping things on topic, there is no doubt the 2011 Mustang looks to be the best competition for the Camaro, to-date. We'll just have to see how long it remains that way. |

I dont know what the 2011 camaro will bring to the table, I heard more aggressive gearing though. Until we have a curb weight and a price point, I will with hold judgement. But the 2010 GT premieum with the trackpack cost just over $35,000 (I think the GT premieum is required to equipt the track pack, but I could be wrong) While a 1SS cost just 31k. It seems the 2011 mustang is going to get real pricey, real fast.

And yes, I agree, big brother could certainly use some bigger/stickier meats out back. The stock 285/35-19 Goodyear F1's just don't cut it. I'm in the process of determining what it is going to take to get some 345/30-19's under the car.

Whats funny about this site is that it brings more Mustang fans than Mustang sites ever dream of. LOL
Mustang guy on Camaro site. "I really like the mustang better than the camaro, wait till next year, its on". Next year. "I think the new mustang looks better than the last year, wait till next year, its on". Camaro guy on Mustang guy on Camaro site. "Good for you, they make Mustang sites you know". Mustang guy on Camaro guy on Mustang guy on Camaro site. "This site would be stupid if we werent here, just a bunch of nutswingers" Camaro guy "okay so, thats all it is on Mustang sites, because nobody else wants to read about those piece of shi#s but the people that buy them" Mustang guy "just wait, next year it will pwn your stupid heavy turd" camaro guy "LOL, good I hope it does, maybe you will go back to (insert generic mustang site that nobody vists) to get them enough posters to maybe get advertisers". Mustang guy "we have the GT500 (or whatever its called now)". |

Plus the 2010 GT can be had for way less than MSRP (there are some discounts, no?) and 0% financing (right?) so it is actually cheaper with all of the incentives.

Well, there is a lot more talk and articles being written that the new stock Mustang GT will be over 3800lbs now. This is spreading in the Mustang forums and in articles. So, the latest Ford news maybe correct about the weight.

I think I'll just wait until the offical numbers come out rather than speculating at this point. Sure, but I doubt you will find the same incentives on the 2011 when it hits the showrooms. |
