I am letting dealer's outbid eachother for my 2010 Camaro 2LT RS - my questions relate to the ground effects - I plan on having them painted to match car color (still debating Victory Red vs Jewel Tinted Red) so I want to hear from those who have the painted effects and have you had problems with chipping? The other question is related to the spoiler - I am requesting the original version posted as an option - the raised spoiler - has anyone out there currently driving with one and do you like it - does it interfere with vision by blocking back window? One last question - how should I take care of the black stripes and hockey stripe - my car will be in the Florida sun all day while I work - thanks for your help!!!!

HIDS did it for me. I had factory HIDS on my G35 (not projector beam) and then I installed aftermarket HIDS on my SI then one of the ballasts went and at the time I didnt have the patience or time to order another ballast so I went back to halogens (Sylvania Silverstar Ultras). What a difference! So dull and yellowish white. It's impossible to go back after having HIDS I found and the Camaro happens to have awesome projectors/lenses that really take advantage of the HID technology. No brainer.

yep, I think it's pretty well answered, thanks again for all the responses

I drove a 1LT/RS/6M yesterday and the difference in handling was noticeable with the 20" wheels, even though I didn't really have a chance to push it in the city streets of Worcester with the salesman in the car . . . so I do think the wheels and HID's are worth it, the other stuff is just sweetener (I would be going with a dark color so the body color roof molding is no big deal to me)

The lights on your ranger and the HID's on the Camaro are VASTLY DIFFERENT. Night and day different and that's no pun. The HID's light up EVERYTHING in front of you. Highbeams is like the sun coming up in the morning.

I love RJT. In fact the unpainted ground effects look great on it. Check out the official RJT thread, or this one to see LuckySob's car.

As for the highwing spoiler I don't think they are out just yet, so I don't think anyone can answer that yet. Also it is rumoured that you will have to plug some of the holes from the stock spoiler if you go that route.

I have to admit, it completes the car and is worth every penny. I do like it but it isn't worth it for me.

Halo/HIDs I realize it looks really bright but I am positive I do not need them. Everyone in my family car's have halogen lights and they can see just fine. The HIDs look cool but also unique but not my preference.

Spoiler- I want that. That looks good.

Taillights-I can go either way

Rims- 18 inches are enough for me

Tires- All season are ok with me.

Moulding-Not a problem for a darker color car like CGM.

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

Just like the curves on the back without the spoiler. Couldn't piece the RS package together so didn't get it.
