fwiw...I touched it...I made a point of feeling the dang shark fin to see what all your gripes were about.

...I still don't get it. It's tough plastic, rigid, and relatively smooth...so based on what I'm reading...the fact that it's black is really that big of a deal?

Yes.

However, there have been less important things debated about for much longer around here.

My only regret is that I won't be financially stable enough to get this automotive God until 2010. Great pics guys, keep it up.

Interesting...I only said that because I found the contrast between the black fin and the silver, yellow, and red cars quite appealing. And I've always thought the BMW-style, body-colored fins looked ridiculous.

Different strokes, for different folks, I guess.

I try to talk my husband into getting one, and painting the top antifreeze green, its not going over too well though.

If the shark fin is just for the OnStar, I'd just rip it off and get the hole filled and painted. I neither want or need big brother watching my vehicular indiscretions.

That's Wrong!! You need to get her a car to tide her over for a couple years first, then you get the Camaro.

My wife came away from Indy with the same impression and statement. We'll have two 5th Gens too... However, I'll have mine first.
