wrk something out if you guys are interested. He is will ing to make us a special deal and a lower core charge. Also he is allowing me to swap my OEM Rims for the OEM Concept rims found on the HAVOC Camaro Kit. He has about 12 sets of camaro OEM rims and quite a few mor Havoc style rims. He is definitely able to work with us.
If you all are interested please let me know. When I get my Black Chrome Havoc 20" Wheels I'll take plenty of pictures. This guy really knows what hes doing. He also had good things to say about the Hyper Process its called the PVD Process also. It is guaranteed for 5 yrs or 100K miles from flaking or chipping

Are you speaking about US Wheel Exhange or these Havoc Rims? I spoke to US wheel 2 times and the lady said they dont do the caps which made no sense to me whatsoever. If they can thanks for clarifying this for all of us.

Id be interested doing my stock rims for the sake of it even though I am getting 3 piece rims made.

The Ebay link said $795 for 4. If we get in on a lower price point with a group buy, then I'm in. I will have my 3-piece set soon. Please advise what you can work out.

Thanks

I was able to speak to the owner personally. We talked for about an hour today. I have all his personnel information, cell phone email etc. He said they have just recently worked it out. They will be spraying a black chrome paint for the center caps. The plastic will not hold up to the high heat treatment of the regular process. This must be what the other guys are doing also. Not only that these guys have a bunch of core wheels to exchange for us. It will take about 2 weeks to receive your wheels and you have 7 days to return the old ones. If yours have a little curb rash thats OK but they cannot be bent, dented, out of round etc. curb rash only or you will be charged. Im trying to get a better core charge. I think somewhere around a $1000 is fair because thats gotta be close to what these wheels are worth brand new. We will be receiving brand new rims with the Black Chrome process. I will find out how many of the Havoc sets he will have or if more will become available. I am going to get a price that includes shipping from Him to us, and Havoc wheels or RS Wheels. Currently his Company is doing OEM Wheels for Lexus and Acura and the Dealerships are selling these for $1900 a set. He is charging the dealerships $800. Ebay is $785. Maybe we could get 20 sets sold and get them at 650 or 700. Thats what I'm going to work on. If this is gpood enough for dealerships to be calliong it OEM than its good enough for me. If we can get a better price than that thats pretty freakin good. And he's offering a 5 year 100K mile Warranty in writing upon receipt of payment. How can you go wrong. I just cant see waiting on shipping to Japan and being without my car for that long. not only that if you can get some different OEM wheels in the process that still fit your same tires that s a freakin bonus. He will also have OEM Pirelli Tires selling at a good discount also pretty soon. That may come in Handy down the road

Letter of Reference

To Whom It May Concern:

The Elder Automotive Group has been purchasing PVD chrome rims from U.S. Wheel Exchange (Spectrum Metal Works Inc.) for several years and has found Joe and his employees to be solid professionals in the chrome wheel business.

Their PVD coated chrome wheels have been of the highest quality in the industry and with a sound warranty behind the product has made their wheels extremely easy to sell.

We have been carrying PermaChrome coated wheels now for almost 5 years and have not had a single warranty claim ever made. I never thought when Joe first introduced this product to me it was going to be as durable as he told me, and now I can verify PermaChrome coating is “more” durable then the warranty states.

The vehicles on which we have placed the PVD coated wheels are always an attention grabber for drive by traffic and have actually generated and eased the sale of certain vehicles by offering that “something extra” .

We will continue doing business with U.S. Wheel Exchange and have the utmost confidence in the products that U. S. Wheel offers. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you may have.

$650 is a much more reasonable number. I would be in at that price.

Well, I just purchased a set of these wheels. I hit "Buy it Now" and sent a PayPal payment of 965.00 (785.00 plus 180.00 shipping) During checkout there was no mention of the core charge. Well see, I'll probably recieve an e-mail tomorrow. I'll keep everyone posted, Rich

being you can buy a set of 20" for around $700 on here or ebay. $1500 core charge seems a little high.
