A little disappointing..............

That looks about right. Our stock runs showed our test SS making just around 300 RWHP. Your numbers look to be within the 21HP and 21TQ gains we received in our final tests.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks Scott. This could be. Don't really know for sure since I don't have pre tuned numbers to compare. Just assumed (or hoped) my bone stock numbers would be about average which seems to be in the 320's. Was hoping to be 330's with tune.

Thumbs up

I just had to return my 2005 4.7l v8 Dakota Back to Stock after using the SuperChips 3950 Cortex Programmer because I'm getting rid of it to get my New 2SS Camaro and After Driving with it being Programmed it Totally Sucked Driving it with out it being Programmed.

Man I loved that truck so much more being tuned and I sold the programmer for basiclly almost the same price as what i bought it for. I mean the thing was Brand New Still, Heck all i had to do was Program my truck and stick it back in the box, I never really used any of the other features of the Cortex.

Every Vehicle of mine that could use a Programmer has had a SuperChip in it all the way back to when They were Chips and I'm pretty sure that when I get my Camaro either in Late Jan or Feb and I start adding add on to it again,... I'll be going with SuperChips again.

And for those of you that are Worried about the Updates and stuff, It's Really Easy to Do and the Programmers and Really Easy to Use, They pretty much walk you right through everything, Turn Key to the On Position, Turn Key off, On, Off, On, Off, Etc,...

AFM - Abilility to disable

I just programmed my car witht he 93 octane tune from the 2865 Flashpaq. I went back to look at the settings and the AFM is still active as well as the top speed limiter.

I went back into advanced options but there was no place to make adjustments. Only options where tune w 93 oct, tune with 91 oct, stock, stock with options.

Does the 2865 allow to increase the top speed limiter and shut of the AFM?

Thanks

TTSS

under advanced options and 93 I have the option to turn off the AFM, top speed and many more options. Try it out.

So,... Scott@Superchips how far are the #'s away from the final product being released to the public?

I want to buy a Cortex Tuner and Not a Special Edition Version, Did SuperChips Get everything ironed out yet for the LS3's?

THis sounds pretty cool, I would like to see dome more reviews from people who have used it on the LS3.

Does it shut off the code for high flow cats?

Superchips sucks. Everyone ive owned needed updated right away, almost like they rush to get them on the market without doing any reasearch. Plus the power gains are so so minimal its not worth the investment. Both of mine were diesels 6.6 duramax and 6.7 cummins. For the guy that said his diesel rocks with superchips please go try another brand you will be amazed. Superchips your checking in, feel free to CHECKOUT

Camaro692,... What Mods have you done to your camaro so far? I tried to check your Profile out but you dont have any Pictures in your Garage or Friends in your Profile. How do you know that the SuperChips Programmer doesnt do anything for the Camaro?

I've always had good luck with them for Gas Vehicles, Maybe you should try them for a Gas Vehicle instead of a Diesel Vehicle.
