not really sure, it must have already had a crack in it we didnt notice. We just haeted food up like normal and it was completely in half when we got the food out.

It was...my senior year in High School. I was the then-editor of the yearbook for that year, and it was just after school had let out. We had just sent in our section and barely met the deadline the night before (at ~5...and school let out at 2 - anyways)...

We decided to put in a bag of popcorn, and I got up to go do it. Threw it in the microwave, set it for 3 minutes...and walked back to the computer. I was messing around in Photoshop (suprised?

), and didn't pay attention to the high-power microwave frying the popcorn. Smoke started coming out of the machine, and it smelled terrible!.

And....the fire alarm went off. Yep...whole school, 2000+ people, emptied out -- after school.

I felt like such a prune. I was all red-faced and embarrased. Our advisor was laughing his ass off, and my fellow students in the club thought it was funny, too.

I later found out that it was a not-so-routine fire drill...but I had a week to feel like a doofus.
