hey skyman...i pm'd you an answer, but here it is so everyone can see it. i measured those with a car at the dealership...so evidently there is more than one supplier to gm. i should have asked for a width measurement to avoid this problem but just didn't occur to me. sorry for the trouble. sometimes this happens with things for the first time. if you'll send those back i'll begin making new ones 13 3/8" wide and send them out right away. and from now on i will make sure i ask for the width on each.

Hmm, now that is strange, I went and took measurments again and what I measured first is incorrect, it is 13 1/4". I don't understand why ther would be such a difference in width... I wonder if the ones you measures were actually Factory installed stripes...

Very strange. I just measured my deck stripes and they are 12-3/8" wide outside to outside of the pin stripe. I bought back in May and they were dealer installed with GM supplied stripes.

Where did you take your measurment? I noticed mine taper down, and where they go under the spoiler it is right at 13 3/16" wide... If you took the measurement at the end of the stripe they may be narrower..
Then again mine was built middle of december, so they may have changed suppliers.

Measured mine right where they disappear under my NLP spoiler.

Nope, My Camaro is Cyber Gray, stripes are matte black. Just haven't put them on yet cuz' of the weather.

OK .. here is my question regarding putting the stripes over the spoiler. I was told by a fairly reputable vinyl installer here in town that the only way to do this was to do it in 2 pieces, with a seam in the top edge of the spoiler. It this true? I always thought it should be possible to wrap the vinyl all the way around it in one piece.

I tried installing new stripe extensions on my new spoiler. Once the stripe goes over the top of the spoiler, it wants to turn. If the back of the trunk lid and spoiler were straight across, we wouldn't have a problem with this. But with the curved trunk lid and spoiler, I think your guy is right.

I am looking into painting the new spoiler to match the vinyl stripes on the car. If they don't match (color, texture, shine, etc....) then I will have the stripes painted on the trunk and spoiler.
