Hankook Ventus V12 Evo for 21" - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have been keeping my eye out for tires that are available for those of us with the 21" upgrade wheels. Up til now all I have seen are the Pzero's and the Dunlop SP 9000, both run about 350-450 per tire. Even the Nitto INVO everyone seems to love is around 330 in 21" sizes.

Today I came across the Hankook Ventus V12 evo available now in 245/35 ZR21 and 285/30 ZR21. They are priced around the $200 mark online. I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with these tires on the Camaro or anything else.

I'm running Hankook Dynapro's on my silverado and have been impressed with their performance.

Looks like the Hankooks placed second, behind only the Dunlop Star Spec.

Another point for the INVOs that I hadn't realized is that they are not uni-directional so you can rotate your tires side-to-side at least. With the staggered sizes you cannot rotate at all with uni-directional tires.

Great find man i really wanted to step up to 21 once more tire choice come out.

I know Porsche uses this size often in europe but with lower aspect ratio thats the issue.

Lets hope some nice 295-315 come out for the rears in the proper height

It has been said that the hankooks become very noisey as they wear. My C6 is pushing 568 RWHP and I am running the Invo's and very happy with them as a street tire. I also live in FL and the rain grooves on the invos are awesome.

I was thinking the Invos looked good for water but the Car and Driver/Tire Rack tests show them as jsut medicre performers in wet conditions. They were on my list, but I also live in FL and I need rainy tires.

Continental Extreme Contact DW now available in the following sizes:

245/35R21
295/30R21

About $290 each...

I'm running these on mine but in a 275/40 19" size and they are great.
