Stock LS3 Dyno
Went to the shop I used to work at and hit the dyno with 550miles on the car. I saw 348Hp, 355 Ft/lbs on two runs back to back (+/- a few ponies). It is a Land and Sea dyno that gives VERY accurate numbers that always match the physics when the car goes to the track.

Im still trying to figure out the whole chassis dyno thing. From the sound of things ive gathered Dyno jet is the most accurate due to less variables and being an inertia type? Others such as the Mustang and Dyna are more for tuning purposes? I wish there was a sticky on the LS-3s for dyno pulls , but thumbing back thru Ive seen anything from 340s up to a 384 rwhp! Im sure weather conditions play a factor too , how the car was broke in and if it was corrected or not. Does anyone have some good info on this?

Thats at the flywheel and theres 15%-18% loss thru the drive train. Thats how you get the rwhp (rear wheel horse power).

Dynojets usually give the most unrealistically high numbers, and are the easiest to fudge the results. Without going into a long rant that has been gone over 10000x, do some research and you'll find some answers. NO dyno is perfect and they all can read wrong if lyed to or programmed improperly, but some are better than others.
