How is that possible? That flies in the face of everything TPE posted.

I remember KB and Whipple hashing out their differences on ModFords for a few pages. Also a very good read.

Were it not interesting to learn some of the little details of these SCs, this thread may have been shut down a while ago. I hope the attitude turns more toward education than the defensive/offensive tones in some of the prior posts. I, for one, consider the way a business conducts themselves in addition to the product and service that they provide. I'll drive out of my way to go to a restaurant and pay too much for great service and a great attitude. I sincerely hope that the tone changes...
We could not agree more. We only chose to reply because of some misinformation that was posted up first by our competitor. It is difficult not to respond in a case like that.

Hopefully by our website you can see that we do try to educate our potential and existing customers a great deal about our products. We try to post as much information as possible and constantly update that information as we conduct more testing. IOHO no other supercharger company tests like Kenne Bell or publishes as much factual information as we do. It’s what we do every single day, and it is very gratifying to share our results with everyone.

We really enjoy doing this on the forums as well, but many times you find yourself being challenged and in those cases it is difficult not to respond. We will try very hard not to turn any discussions into sparring matches.

Thanks for allowing us to participate.

Everyone at Kenne Bell.

I can't say that if I were in your shoes, that I couldn't help myself to act any different; I can be honest about that. I'm glad that we have an exchange of information, and hope that we, as a community, have taken a turn in this situation and I look forward to comments, and being educated by comments from both you and Whipple. I can remember seeing both companies start to be recognized 20 years ago and loved seeing what your products were doing to benefit the rides that I was interested in. I'm truly looking forward to seeing the results of BOTH companies hard work over the last 20+ years and am glad we have even more competition for Camaro If, in the future (and this goes to any member out there), one feels they are being attacked or anything along those lines, you can report the post in question, and all of us Admin'/Mods' will get the report and review the concern. Although I kinda' liked the insight I received from this interaction between KB and Whipple, it could've been handled differently. I think we're making strides in seeing to it we can enjoy future interactions

PS - I'm most interested in having as many options as possible to put a hurtin' on all the Mustangs, Challengers, and all the imports out there. If you keep bringing products to the market that fulfill this for us, I think we're going to have a bright future

As EVERYONE knew, to include the owner himself, and Ryne from CMS, that was NOT a TPE tune. I did not touch the car when it was on the dyno. Gill from NRP tuned it.

But you knew that already, as you have been told that from a few guys. To include Ryne and Flash.

Yep, not bad for 7.5 psi, and an A6.

I see you have a stroked Ls7. Prolly a 440?? Mine was making just under 600rwhp, 569rwtq. It was fun as hell.

The car we built the kit on had a few major upgrades that we werent sure would work on the stock kit. So after our 2nd revision, we put out a request for a donor car. They would get the kit at dead cost, and have free installation. In return, we would verify the production kit.

Well, after a year, and a dozen failed attempts, we just back burner'd the kit. Last week, we had another customer from FL claim he was gonna let us use his car. Hopefully, if/when he decides, we will get it finished.

But we have had the kit ready for over a year now. We just will NOT ship a production kit until we have tested it on a factory stock car (bolt on's ok). The GTO market is extremely small, so the sales volume wont exceed more than a dozen or so kits. We dont want to have any production revisions.

Why did we stop posting on the GTO board? Because they loved to talk, but wouldnt put their money where their mouth was. We offered a complete GTO kit, installed, with KB warranty, for a couple grand, and NO ONE took us up on it. All they did, was complain as to why it wasn't out.
Hello Jeff,
I am the guy from FL that said I will send you my car.
I AM going to send it. But it won't be until Feb. I understand that you've had a lot of folks back out on you and may be skeptical. I have tried to contact you a couple times this week and left a voice message, and another one with your wife. I just need to ask you a couple questions.

Don't know Flash, never talked to him or anyone else about ANY of your builds, you must have me confused with someone else.
I think you missed the point of my comment in that you were discussing whether or not a Torco tune is the same as a pump gas tune. When in fact, the car left YOUR shop with a 100 octane tune on it. Shady.

Ok, I wont argure with you.. You must have missed where I said Gil from NRP. It left HIS shop with the 100 octane tune. I wasnt even aware they put a 100 octane tune in it until the following week. Why would I deliver a car, and allow it to drive to Cali, with a 100 octane tune in it? What.. Should I have tossed a 55 gallon drum of 100 octane in the trunk?

Quit hijacking the dudes thread over something stupid.
