THREE (3) GRAND PRIZES/ARV: 2009 Chevrolet Camaro – Transformers Bumblebee Replica Edition-(ARV/MSRP: $40,000). This replica will be a production-version Camaro modified to resemble the exterior of Bumblebee, as seen in Transformers: The Movie. Specialty enhancements/design upgrades may not be covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Grand Prize vehicles will not be available for delivery until 2009. Winners must take delivery of vehicle within thirty (30) days of notice of availability from GM-selected dealer near each winner’s residence, and each will be solely responsible for sales tax, registration, license, title and insurance fees and cost of any additional optional equipment not provided with Grand Prize vehicle. Grand Prize vehicles’ APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV) is based on forecasted 2009 Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of a base model Chevrolet Camaro. Winners must a have valid driver’s license from jurisdiction of residence and proof of insurance to take delivery. Taking an educated guess based on the above, I would say it is a V8, production model (more than likely automatic because not everyone knows how to drive a stick) with yellow paint, black stripes, and a few other mods to resemble Bumblebee. I would say it is an 1SS (not RS) with cloth seats and no ambient lighting....

![]() $40,000 was a roundabout number they put in there for legal purposes. I remember when that number was first released, people flipped out, because they thought it was the SS's MSRP... ![]() Anyways, I remember Scott mentioning that they would be fully-loaded cars. And good money is that they're V8's. ![]() Big Congratulations on your win!!

Fastball that sounds awesome about the interior, v8, automatic I am 45 don't need to be burning the tires off like I did in the 70's and 80's but the paint you mentioned cant be done on a mass scale.
I guess my question is there are only 3 of these bumblebee replicas would they duplicate the bumblebee paint for these 3? |
