yeah I did as well perhaps mine were to big to get in there properly, or the clamps were clocked in a bad spot ect..or i just suck w/ a pair of pliers...Lol.. not sure, anyways glad yours came out great as well. Nice pics.

Thanks, I`ll check out the Matco guy next time he is around a shop I`m at. Or if I`m at the mall will check at sears.

Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s!

Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list..

I didn't see the factory check valve that was inline with the heater hose. Maybe earlier VINs didn't have them? I have it on my LS3... and plan on keeping in the loop when doing this mod.

edit: some don't have this check valve.. refer to post #22

Any place that carries auto parts will have the hoses and fittings, eg: canadian tire,walmart,jb powercenter to name acouple. even your local repair shop will have hose in stock

Mcmaster Carr has pretty much anything you've ever need. World's best hardware store. I usually get my shipments the next day from them on UPS ground!

Here is a pic of cleaned up engine compartment and rerouted heater hoses and fuel line. Removed the turtle shell covering the intake manifold. I do not use the factory engine cover that is in the attic. Relocated some of the wiring and rerouted some of the EVAC lines as well. Not a beautiful engine but much better looking.

weird, I get no gurgling noises w/ out the valve now, and none that I remember before the reroute, never had the valve.
