Blue - I think our cars may be there the same time. I will definately check yours out when I drop mine off. Yours may be getting close to being done at that point.

RS - That lift looks awesome - along with the 2 LPE cars of course!!
That is a great plan speed, You will get to enjoy your car for a couple of years and then enjoy it even more down the road with a freshly rebuilt 650pkg.

What a day at the track. First car first run was a top fuel dragster driven by a 73 year old guy who has been building them forever but just started racing himself. Throtle got stuck and he ping ponged off of both walls. He was ok but his car was trashed and the track took three hours to clean up. Fire dept. decided a couple of hundered gallons of water was needed.
Now I can tell you personally these pzeros suck on the track. The best time I was able to get was an unadjusted 13.677 (13.011 adjusted). Now granted it was only 57 degrees but they just flat out dont hook. The only way I was able to do that was dropping air in the rears and rolling out, not giving it full throtle until after I shifted into second and was still breaking loose. I think I will call CCW this next week to get some new wheels and tires, I plan on ordering an extra set for the rear with 19's and DR's.
I was kind of proud of my reaction time .581, I figure with a little seat time it will get better. First time to the track so all in all it was a good time and should get a lot better. There was a sleeper twin turbo Sunbeam that flat out could get it now.....we are talking 10 flat. Also met a guy with an older Cobra sprying meth into his Vortec blower and he was running in the 11's.

Aww Man...I had to sneak over and look at the time slips here. Here I was kinda thinking I did all right then I see stock 2ss running in the 12's with out DR's.
Now I know I need alot more seat time and need to learn how to feather that throtle. Oh well I am learning with some DR's I should be able to get to at least the stock Camaros. My car is also throwing some codes, emailed Ryan and asked for his thoughts on it. I hope it is not operator error.

mws, glad you had fun, I'm sure your times will come down with more runs.
Happy to hear the 73yr old is OK that must of been quite a scene.

Let us know what that code turns out to be.

Me too, sad part is he was telling us about a 14 yr old girld on her first run in a jr. dragster who's throtle got stuck and how it must of been lack of seat time as she never hit the kill swtch. Then 5 minutes later Bam!! it happens to him.

I read the codes they said too lean bank one, an emissions leak, and high purge emissions
I think I will double check my gas cap naw that would make me feel silly. It could explain the emissions, but not the too lean code.

Would be nice if it was as simple as the gas cap.

I know he was sick for a while but I saw a post earlier today from junkie on another thread so he must be feeling better.
