Yup Boerne is a few miles out from SA and yes Shertz is getting super huge. It won't be long where SA north to Shertz...New Braunfels...San Marcos and on up to Austin is one big contiguous set of cities.

Hubby will retire this summer with 30 years, 6months and 9 days of active duty service in the army, thanks for recognizing his service.

Is Boerne getting as busy and populated as Schertz?

Once again, that car is so beautiful, it's now the wallpaper on my computer. I wish I could hear it rumble down the street. oh oh oh... ooohhh... yeah!!! nothing sounds better than those 1st generation Camaro's!

Boerne has grown quite a bit. The number of schools in the district is a good indicator of that. Having said that, it definitely hasn't "blown up" like Shertz and Boerne still has a small town look and feel. In the local newspaper police blotter the annoying barking dog still gets listed!

The difference with Shertz is the commercial development including restaurants and shopping. I would guess it has to do with the IH35 corridor that runs through that town.

Enjoy the retirement, it is well deserved after so many years of service to America and the World.
