If you have a reputable dealer you shouldn't have a problem. I talked to my salesman and told him "do NOT let anyone even sit in my car when it comes in."

He said that sold cars are never shown to other customers. My car was kept inside and out of site in the service area until I picked it up. The only ones who touched it were the guys who did the PDI and cleaned it up (it was pretty dirty when it came off the truck). It was immaculate when I got it and it had 6 miles on it (which I understand is normal coming from the factory).

Gawd, I so wish the weather would warm up and be sunny so I could take it out!

I told my dealer no stickers, that was no problem.

If your state requires a front plate, by law, they would have to put the bracket and plate on to give you an inspection sticker. If you don't have them give you the inspection sticker, I don't think they are required to attach it.

Do a search of dealer prep or dealer prep lists......there's some good threads and lists available here, with what to tell your dealer about prepping the car.
Thanks alot!

It's about . Most dealers that participate on this forum would not allow anyone but prep/detail people drive the car. Unless the person that ordered the vehicle cancels, that car is not inventory. Only if they cancel the order would a good dealer allow someone to test drive it.

Yeah and I should have ordered from a reputable dealer, unfortunately where I ordered from im not sure if they are good or not, cant find any reviews on them.

You don't have to. You can get a no drill front plate bracket. I got one on ebay and the dealer even put it on for me when they prepared the car for delivery. In fact, my dealer wanted to know where I got it and I sent them the ebay link.

I told my dealer "no holes in the front bumper, and no dealer stickers or I won't buy the car." They said "no problem!"

BTW, here is the ebay listing for the front license plate bracket I bought:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...item2eaacd7714

That is for a car withouth GFX. If you have GFX, he sells one for that too. Just go to that seller's store.

Do a seach here. There are other alternatives other then drilling the bumper. Like I said, don't have the dealer put the inspection sticker on the car before you take delivery. You can attach the plate with tye wraps to the grill, go get your sticker, then take it off. Of course you run the risk of being ticketed for no front plate.

Oh they knew, they made more money off the deal not selling it to me as I am a employee of the dealership. Its bad when this happens, its hard to recommend your dealer

My salesman went with me to fill it up when I took deliver so that he could pay for it. I put a tank full of 93 in it on their credit card. They would have done it for me, but they knew I was concerned that it be 93 octane. So they let me do it myself.
