In NJ you can't pump your own gas. But the attendant couldn't get the pump to continue pumping. I had to help him and got it on the first shot.
That's the Camaro tell you that it hates you!

Commits weekly crime
|
Here in Washington state, I have the same problem.
I go to the same places for gas that I take my Impala to with no problems filling the Impala. Some pumps at certain stations dislike the Camaro filling though...and I have on a couple of pumps had to stand there repeatedly trying to find a position I can fill the car from. Most of the time I finally find one, but one pump I had to continuously re-squeeze the handle because it would only fill for a few seconds before I'd have to let go and do it again.

I had the same thing happen before. I use to gas up at the same pump and just moved over a row. Problem solved.

I have the same problem with my car. I have to hold the gas nozzle up so that it will pump gas. If I let go of it, it stops.

Push the nozzle in all the way and use some force to hold it in tight so that there is a good seal.

I always try to keep my visits to NJ brief enough that I don't need gas until I'm back in PA. Thank God for casinos in PA! Neither the Jeep or the Camaro would make it to AC and back. At least not with me behind the wheel.

My Wrangler does this all the time. To solve it, I just put the nozzle in just enough to avoid a spill, and i pull the "trigger" just under all the way.

I have the same problem. A friend of mine says he has to do it too depending on what station he goes too.

This happens about half the time I fill up. I always attributed it to the nozzle, not the car.

Oh man I was hoping this was a rare thing. My Mustang does this ALL the time and I do not know why. I have to hold the trigger down like halfway and it still clicks on and off. I was hoping the Camaro wasn't like this lol.
