New to the site... and the car... Just picked up a Black, with dark gray racing stripes, SS/RS. I am hoping to get some good info and meet some people.

I am coming down today to meet up with D and Nikki BUT the car will not be with me. I tired to get it out... got it stuck, shovelled it out, got it back in the garage. Now here is where I should have hung up the keys but my manside came out and I said... I can get this! SO... I tried again. REALLY got it stuck this time so I had to call the wife to drive while I pushed. Its back in the garage, NOT trying again!

A dyno day/meet and greet is a GREAT idea. I bet youd have 10-15 Camaros there at least. I am sending 1 RD JEWL to you... he's ready. Maybe you can talk him into that turbo kit...

GREAT to have another "Dayton'rrrr" for the KMart Cruise-ins down accross from The Green. We (good group of C5rs) are down there every Firday eve during the summer when weather is nice. Just sit, talk and enjoy each others company and their cars.

We have a fantastic group of folks on this thread and do trips regularly. We have quite a Caravan heading to the Camaro5 Fest in April if you are interested. Jrhaus76 can point you in the right direction for that as well as just about anything on here.

We have quite a eclectic group on here ranging from teens to how can I say, old, I mean "seasoned"

Many of us have kids and bring them along, and we have quite a few who bring their spouse (or in some cases their Spouse brings them).

I am an active duty military guy as is my wife and will be retiring here (right here in Vandalia) sometime. I travel a lot for my job but have been trying to keep involved in here since I am deep in mods. One thing I will say, is everyone here is always willing to help with knowledge, or getting greassy if necessary. No question is too dumb.

I think you ill be happy here and welcome and last but not least... ENJOY YOUR NEW RIDE!!!

Did I mention I am WD with Edelbrocks SC line? When time comes, 2 customers (L99 & LS3) are going to get a SMOKING DEAL on the Kit and Install!! Im mean a REALLY SMOKING DEAL!!

I need you on my side... you have to talk D into an S/C kit... so I can buy his cam! I told him I have dibs and he said thats great. When he does the S/C (I assume you'd do it) I will just have my car there too and you could swap his cam directly into my car.

Work on him!

Already in the works. He WILL get one, he just has some other stuff to take care of first. Did I tell you Rick is going SC? I have his cam already sold to Paul. Saved him $300!!

sweet... I am hoping he goes SC next winter. I would love to do stage two one year from now. Right before the 2nd annual C5F.

Stage 2 is CAI, headers, freeflow (or no) cats and his cam. Maybe a cat back but thats not that important to me. Not mcuh power gains there, just sound and $1200 is a lot to pay for some sound!

I offered D $100 for his stock exhaust... you think thats fair? I want to build a muffler delete but if it sucks I can put mine back on.
