I'm 6'3 and live in New England and love the sun roof. I see no problems with head room at all. iI love the wind coming through the top! Go for it! Reverse Mohawk is cool but I much rather have the sun roof.

I love the sunroof in the Camaro. I've been known to open the sunroof on a cold dy as long as my seat warmer is on.

There's no wind noise whatsoever when it's closed and when it's open, it's not bad at all.

As for the reverse mohawk, like another posted said, most people would never even notice what that is or that the roof has that shape. I didn't when I first started researching the Camaro.

Anyway, it's a matter of preference.

My sunroof on my BMW was fun at first but now the only reason I use it is because I feel bad that I wasted so much money to have one placed. I say no sunroof. Get a convertible or motorcycle if you want to enjoy the sun.

sunroof?

As much as I love sunroofs/convertible tops, the Camaro only looks 'right' with the hardtop, so I say no sunroof. Not to mention the big chunk of headroom the sunroof takes out..... made a big diff to me.....
But, either way, you'll dig it! Get a hardtop for now and then trade it on a 'vert when they come out! Get the best of both worlds! Ha!

The convertible is a little more drastic than a sunroof, and not really a fair comparison.

I agree with the opinion that the stripes won't look quite right on the roof if it has a sunroof. If I did get the sunroof, I'd just keep the stripes on the hood and trunk lid. If I didn't, I'd get the stripes on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. Just my preference, I like stripes over the roof. As far as anyone else seeing the reverse mohawk, I'm not really concerned about that. I notice it, and that's all that matters. It looks pretty cool from the inside too. I'm just a big fan of fresh air and good ol' sunlight in the cabin. Not a big dark n dreary fan.

I'm most concerned with the sunroof leaking and/or getting noisy over time, and the rev. mohawk if I leave the sunroof option out. Money is not really an issue. I'll be making more than enough to support the end cost of the car regardless of what options I put in it by the time I buy mine.

Well, there you go. Get the sunroof.

I'm 5'11" with a sunroof and have to say the car looks a lot better with it all the way back and tinted windows half way down so I say GET IT!

Another opinion of mine is the car's lines are so attractive that you spend little to no time noticing the roof, and instead you notice the lines along the side of the car, and the nose. At least that's what I notice most about the car.

If your a fan of the sun & wind while driving, get the sunroof.
Agreed - I use mine every day (except Feb-March). I've had sunroofs in many cars over the last 15 years & not once has one of them "leaked over time"

Of course, many people here will say I have no right to have this car - I say this because I'm getting the V6 with a sunroof & many people on this board don't believe the V6 should even exist. I have no need for mods & more speed & I love sunroofs...

Blech. No sunroof! The car is much better off without.

The only issue with that is I don't want a vert. I've seen too many nightmares with ragtops. Now if it was a hardtop convertible it may be a different story...

T-Tops, oh why must you have deceased?

Well, let's just say I plan to never get rid of the car. I'll probably wind up passing it down to one of my children someday. I mean, this is my dream car. I'm 21 and I've loved and wanted a Camaro since the first time I saw one when I was a kid. That desire has only amplified itself over the years. I've never been a huge fan of convertibles, the only exception being the recently-developed hard-top convertible due to its ability to transform from sport coupe to convertible and back to sport coupe without the ragtop issues.

Back on topic, I don't really mind the look of the sunroof being open over top of the roof. It doesn't look amazing, but doesn't look bad either.
