What's the typical drivetrain loss(%) for a auto 2ss?

can be even more than that with a loose converter

What signifies loose, does it have to do anything with the stall speed? I suck at transmission stuff...

yes, a small 9.5" 3000+ stall is going to have a higher hp loss to the rear wheels, but will perform better than a tight stock converter
