Numbers look good Russ... now we need to get back to the track where you already have a true baseline...

Thanks Andy. My numbers were STD though, so that means they'd be even lower right?

BTW...love the ADM intake. I get compliments on it all the time.

STD will read higher than SAE.

Every dyno is different BTW. I would take it to another dyno and compare the results.

Typical gains on any late model, NA car is going to be 5-10whp on an CAI and 15-20whp on a full exhaust system. Anything more is just outrageous since many of these new vehicles already come with very efficient intake systems "for what it has".

Now throw a cam in there and it's a completely different story.

On my LS3 I dyno'd 380hp stock, added a Vararam and full exhaust w/hi-flo cats and tune, it made 415. Now my stock dyno was on a 108deg day and it was so hot my iat's shot out the roof and the car pulled timing above 6000.. I think I might have hit 390. With that said I picked up 25-35rwhp. Exactly where it should be.

Then I threw in a cam and the car made 491whp.

The SAE and STD are just correction factors. I believe it does an multiplication based on a certain temperature so if you were to compare the charts to someone that dyno'd somewhere else, it would be *somewhat* comparable. But your air is different, the car responds different, etc which means regardless of the correction you still do not have an accurate comparison.

I dyno'd a L99 yesterday morning. This was at another performance shop in Houston. It made 326hp SAE and 351 uncorrected. Conditions were similar to what the OP posted. If you do want to try your luck at another dyno then I'll be more than happy to PM you some info with some around Houston.

A dynamometer is a measuring tool. You can't get a proper measure of the increased gains your modifications attained without a valid baseline.

There are a bunch of variables which may effect a dyno reading:

Some as simple and basic as tire pressure or even the quality of pump gas used.

Since you don't have a baseline, I would be less interested in your numbers vs other shops, but your numbers compared to other customers Camaros stock and then with the same mods.

Run Type: RO
Run Conditions: 52.90 F
30.07 in-Hg
Humidity 43%
STD: 0.98

Do these numbers seem low?
The STD correction factor of 0.98 says it all (2% less than measured HP).

Using the SAE method for the same weather conditions the Cf is 0.9477 (5% less than measured HP) which would make the numbers even lower.
