That depends on the county and state you live in.

Screaming deal
BINGO!!!! How is that not a bargain? Ive transformed 3 Mustang fans to Camaro fans in the past month and will seriously look at a Camaro when we redeploy.

That totally depends on your state laws.

The information was provided by Cheryl Pilcher and John Fitzpatrick to CamaroZ28.com.

Here is the thread that was posted with the info the moment GM cleared publication.

WOW 20 pages in this thread since late last night. Shows you how much we've all been waiting for pricing info

The V6 is the real bargain here, but the SS price ain't so shabby either. Now, who's gonna give us invoice pricing

I know that the tax on a automatic 2SS/RS with rally stripes is almost $2,600 in NC with 7% sales tax.

It seems to me that nobody has ever came into this forum with actual pricing info - they've always started with :"What do you think it will cost".

Before people started being so rude they should have put 2 + 2 together: Some form of official announcement from GM, somebody with specific pricing info... hmmm... maybe there could actually be some truth to it?

But no, some people had to go & get rude about it, calling names (F----ng newb!) and acting like children.

Every one of you that acted this way should be on your knees kissing this guy's behind and apologizing because you're the ones who looked pretty stupid. Since he's "proven his worth", does this mean that everyone who doubted him has not proven their worth? - no it does not. Next time, just take a deep breath, forget about your problems you had for the day & don't use this board to vent at others who try to help.

Sorry but the prices are to high for the average person. No one is going to spend up wards of $35k for an SS. No way will Chevy sell close to 100,000 units like they planned.

The first years sales will be the best. I bet no more than 40,000 are sold in it peak.

When is GM going to learn. A V8 base version should have been priced around $26k not $31k.

The people that have been waiting since 02 (like myself), will buy them, but they will not attract new buyers with those prices.

With tight credit and a recession, no one is going to be able to get them.

But, just wait until March of 2010 when they are $5k off

Yeah I know, so many people on this post it's crazy. I'm just doing up the numbers to decide to get a fully loaded LT2/RS or a base SS, time will tell when we get the Canadian pricing.

Great decision from GM to give us pricing on the first day of ordering. Now I can go down to the dealer knowing that I'll be ordering a pretty stripped down SS
