I have been one to doubt the camaro, one who said it coundt be done...
one who said chevy has always priced their cars pretty pricey...
I said how can a car that matches and exceeds the srt8 in performance be 30k...
I loled, I lmfao, I even roflcoptored too...
but now I have been proven wrong......
This is a sad day for one mopar guy....
I still love the look of the challenger more but it is just that chevy outdid themsleves on the performace per dollar and the looks aint bad either...

actually, I thought it was going to be $29,995 and was hoping for $28,995 for a 1SS
I banked on it being less than $30k. That kills my auto Boston Acoustics RS SS. I will be waiting for a long time. :(

EDIT: I remember someone betting me a Camaro if it was under $33k. Who was that?

This thread is funny! I had a whole bunch of people telling me I didnt know what I was talking about yesterday when I said pricing would be announced at 12:00 am today - people are way to quick to be the "end all be all" of information.

You have taken this well.....I respect you for admitting when you were wrong, but since you documented your thoughts so well it would have been impossible not to have admitted it...

Just wondering, comparing standard equipment, engines and price how does the Challenger fare model to model. from the lowest priced to the highest?

well you have to wait for the option prices to come out for the camaro... unless they have.

I think it is less than an optioned out srt8 but for the RT we have to wait and see what the options are but it should be pretty close.

to Kevin for taking our kidding like a champ.

Now....the question is, will you cancel that Challenger and buy a Camaro?

you guys underestimate my liking of the camaro
So we were off a $1000...still, how does an equal or better performing $35,000 Camaro (all the trimmings + more toys than a Chally) sound compared to a $43,000 Challenger? hmm, hmm??
