Ok then that would make the Camaro available to fewer potential owners. and that is not something GM needs right now. they need cars priced so anyone with a average income can afford to buy.. not someone making 100K+ a year...

You missed the point, if you start with a $20k car that uses higher quality materials than the Camaro does (and many at the price have better quality materials) and add $20k of performance, then you should be able to have both.

I think starting now, I have lost interest in this.
