But you're right. Be on the safe side and bring one.

Of course, I think there will be helmets passed around. lol
According to Car and Driver the V6 hit 14.5 seconds @ 99mph in the 1/4 mile. They were using a manual transmission. You're right too, I'm sure no one will be reluctant to loan a helmet. It would suck though to buy one then forget it at home!

33 Days to go............. (gratuitous popcorn munching commencement)

So then, a stock LT or LS should be ok without one. Unless they get that perfect launch and hit the gears and stroke just right and somehow get under 14, but then they will just be required on the next run. But I don't see a stock V6 breaking 14.

I think by Fest time, you may see some lightly modded 6 bangers breaking 14.

Bolt Ons (Modified airway, exhaust, tires, tune - no internal engine or power adders):
1. 14.059 @ 98.08 - Beauwulf - A6 - (Airaid CAI, MRT v1.0 Axle Back, Trifecta PCM/TCM Tune)
2. 14.094 @ 99.70 - 67 GTO - A6 - (SLP Blackwing Intake, GMPP axle back, JBA Shorty Headers)
3. 14.184 @ 96.43 - Beauwulf - A6 - (Airaid CAI, MRT v1.0 Axle Back)
4. 14.323 @ 97.75 - scrming - A6 - (MRT Axle Back, IAT sensor relocation)
5. 14.447 @ 97.03 - 67 GTO - A6 - (Airaid CAI, GMPP axle back)
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Yup. All it would take is that first internal mod to push it over. Or a little FI

That's so cool. I've never been. I have a feeling that the fest is gonna create a monster out of me and I'll have to keep one as well. lol

Man, what to do first? I need a helmet, yellow jacket CAI, and walkies. Well, two weeks to go, than it is just money after that.

Hey guys, just thought of somthing. Is there a flag pole at the track? I think we need to start each day with the singing of the National Anthem...by EVERYONE. I think the majority of Camaro owners are vets or active military. Ill even lead it if you like. Honor the flag with our American Revolution!

EDIT: There IS a flagpole. Lets get some feedback on this

lets not get overly PC with it. If it was held in Canada i would expect the Canadian National Anthem to be played.

Nah.... we heard that enough at the olympics. We're not as hard core about that sort of thing. But if it's decided to play the ol' Star Spangled Banner each morning that's cool - we don't mind. In fact I'd respect that for the reason cited by the OP. My plan is to bring a 20' portable flag pole (if it arrives on time ) and it will be flying 2 flags
