It was a great time tonight at Fridays, got to see my first Green Lantern Car it was awsome. It was also good to see everyone! Had a great time Thanks again. Won't be able to make it next week, but will see you in two weeks. Yee Haa!! Camaro Rules!!!

Same here we got our Green Lantern Mobile 2 hours at Gunn before driving to TGIFs. Wife and kids loved meeting everyone and seeing some beautiful Camaros. Looking forward Friday.

Ok, just a quick recap...

Once again, San Antonio's Camaro5 club enjoyed a strong showing last Friday night. I wasn't able to stay much past 10 PM this time, so anyone who did, please feel free to chime in with anything that happened after I left. When I left, the numbers were 16 Camaros total had shown, with 14 still on the lot when I drove off. Anybody else show up after I left?

Events started earlier than usual with txogre (Sam and Christina) leading the charge (between 4-5 PM!) down to Lundquist (now Womack) Chevrolet in Castroville where member Dan (gt2serious), who works there, graciously reserved parking spots for our 2010 Camaros right in front of the showroom as part of the monthly car show there (thanks, Dan--U-DA-MAN!).

Featured on display were an awesome Black SLP ZL550 with rally stripes in the showroom and a sweet orange SLP ZL575 parked right in front--both cars with hoods up, showing off their impressive engine mods.

A few of us made the drive down there, including Sam and Christina (txogre), Justin #1 (CamaroSkooter), Dan (gt2serious), Jason (Spud SS), Mike (Rizzo), Chris #2 and Kelley (SATXLS3), Matt, Lisa, and Madison (Swing--[I think]), and Pete (PnCRedJwl2SS). There were a few others there that had come to our meets before, but not regulars (yet). And we had the privilege of watching a new owner take off for a test drive in his new IOM 2SS/RS (Congrats!).

At around 7:30 PM or so, we decided to convoy back over to our regular haunt and join the rest of the band of brothers (and sisters) at TGI Friday's. After a fun 25-min formation ride, we arrived to find a drop-dead gorgeous Synergy Green Camaro, owened by new member, Mike (Synergy SATX) and family--WELCOME! You have to see this car in-person to believe it...LUV that color!

So, after we all finished drooling over the green machine,

it was hard not to notice that Chris #1 and Stefanie (Atti2de and Atti2dezWife) added yet another cool mod to their SW Camaro. It now sports a new Roto-Fab CAI with white-painted filter box and matching radiator cover plate (dude...you can stop now...let the rest of us catch up!

).

You all definitely keep it interesting! Another fun night, thanks to a great crowd. Wish I could be there next week, but probably won't make it due to family commitments. So Darrell or Chris #1, you guys "have the con." See ya'll in two weeks!
