Trificta has been tuning for awhile. Diablo has been working on it, and yes, the car can be tuned. The problem lies in the fact that it's very wll tuned from teh factory, so one won't see a gain if nothing else is done. You start modifying the car, and the tune makes a difference. Especially teh transmission tune, it rocks!

When you say Tranny tune? Do you mean changing of the shift points and refining torque management?

I don't know how much shift points are changed, I think it's geared more at the torque managment and shift firming up the shifts. But yeah, that's the basic principle.

blade from talking to vince @ trifecta there is a tranny relearn button on the flash programer or something to that effect along with him being able to firm up the shift points.

There is, it's the TCM adaptives clear. It's purpose is to clear any learned behaviors. Then drive hard so the tranny can learn the new way!!

I don't know. I've heard that our motor doesn't have enough displacement to take advantage of an x-pipe, that we are better off with the h-pipe. Then I've been told just the opposite. I'm thinking about adding the MAgnaflow resonated x-pipe to tone down my exhaust.

I don't see how the x-pipe cannot help the system. The only thing that I received a lot of negative opinions on was the size of the pipes. 2.5" should be the max you need to go, any wider and its absolutely pointless.

That's what I don't get, but it's what I was told. Definitely don't need larger then 2.5" for the exhaust.

I still on the fence on whether or not I want to go with a resonated x-pipe.

From what I see and hear x-pipe will fix a lot of sound issues, and definitely helps with flow efficiency and power. I am going with that ARH pipe, that has less of a bend than Magnaflow's design. Its more smooth.

Cool! I've asked Nick about it, maybe I need to ask again, lol. I need to mellow my exhaust out just a tad, lol, it's loud!

I think the x-pipe works more on that drone and makes the v6 sound less ricey. I don't know if it will actually help in lowering the volume of the exhaust
