Still the worst idea ever. I would never, ever drive a CAMARO made to look like a Trans Am. I want to kick the designer in the balls for doing it.

The tail lights really hurt the appearance of the car a lot. The more obvious better design for the tail lights can be seen in the lines between the trunk & tail light panel. The hood bird also looks like it came off of a cereal box. Using a 77-78 TA hood bird would have looked 1000 times better. Other than those two things the car looks like something Pontiac would've designed. I like the car a lot but I would never pay $80,000 or even $40,000 for a car that the Vin will always show as a Chevy Camaro. Only if GM didn't kill Pontiac.. even worse they didn't even give Pontiac a special send off that it deserved. They should have build a limited number of the Trans Am's either Morgan or Lingenfelter to send the brand off into the sunset in proper fashion.

Yea you guys are right. I would never stick those Pontiac emblems or put Trans Am all over my Camaro. However, everything else I would love to do, minus the back end of course.

I completely agree. They knocked it out of the park on everything but the tail lights. No offence to the builders but the tail lights would be deal breaker for me if I was going to spend 80k on this car. I also saw this car at SEMA and once I could get close enough to look at the car I totally loved it until I went to the rear of the car. sorry

To let everyone know, these guys were at my house until 3a.m. last night and I talked to them about c5Fest and I think they are coming and bringing a car with them for display. Once they get back home, the same dealer that bought the first two is taking the third one with a TVS2300 on it. Everyone needs to understand that these cars are all hand fabbed custom work. This is not a kit you buy and install. The price tag relates to the amount of hours put into each car. Once you see it in person it has that WOW factor. I am not a fan of the rear lights but the rest of the car is awesome.

I'd wait for the kit. More cost effective and easier. If I were gonna pay for a custom hand fab. job on my Camaro, I'd damn sure be in on the plans and how it was gonna be done.

That being said, these guys are really good at this stuff. Car looks amazing. I have always been a TA-Firebird hater and think this car is ugly, but the work and idea is as good as it gets.

Red face

I am sorry, but as a fan of the SEVENTIES gold over black 'Bandit' T/A I despise how this 'concept' looks like. I say if your gonna turn a 5th gen Camaro into a Trans Am, make it look like THIS one!

at least the 69 Trans Am shared the same generation as the 67-69 camaros. I just cant see how putting design cues from the 2nd gen T/A works on a 1st gen looking Camaro.

The work on this car is no doubt second to none, but for $80,000 I think I'll stick with my 2SS.
