this is having me thinking about upgrading mine too. I really like the sound. And for $700, I know someone that can install it cheap.

Got mine installed yesterday at my GM dealer. Thanks for the vid, they sound just as great in person lol

Happiness!! my first mod. I wish they didn't discontinue the airbox and shorties. OR is that a future release? For now the GMPP airbox and headers are not available :(

Take a look at the CAI airbox. It's great! Non-GM mod but I doubt GM will ever develop something as good as this. Congrats on the new installation.

It should... Borla makes the GMPP for GM. Biggest difference are the tips.

Axle backs generally just improve sound not HP. If you want to improve HP you will have to go with a cat back setup with an x-pipe and you could also add long tube headers.

Well not sure if it improves HP or not...But sound & visual factor
is very different...I got the Borla Axle Back Type S big difference...
It sounds much better...Double walled tailpipes look sweet...

So is this one thats an option when you order the car?

Performance Exhaust Upgrade Package

Upgrade the look and sound of your Camaros exhaust system with one of our tuned, emissions-legal bolt-on exhaust kits. They deliver a great performance sound and reduced restriction, which promotes increased power - especially when combined with other performance parts. $995

Smile

The one in the OP sounds like the GMPP Performance Touring Exhaust. These will be oval egg shaped mufflers. I have the GMPP Off Road (Track Pack) exhaust with round mufflers.
