thanks for the inputs! the more i look it seems injet is the best one. so do you think this is the one i should go with? how hard would you say the install is? i already no u have to take the tire off. other than that though is it pretty much hook up and drive, no tuning needed or anything?

No tuning needed. Always helps to get one after a few mods on these engines but not necessary.

i just bought one for $300 it's a Stage 2 G5CR CAI. Seems to work and sound pretty good.

whats nice about the airaid..is that the fitting fits right up againt the opening where the air enters the vehicle from the outside.....

i have seen the G5CR, havent heard much about it. i do like that it has colored tube. anyone else have input about it? performance wise? it does seem though the injen is the one to get...

wtf why is the wheel horse power so low?

305 crank hp should be around 270 to the wheels no?

Automatics are typically dynoing in the 240s while manuals are dynoing up around 260ish...

Wonder if the hood was open... also the fact that there was no real gain makes me wonder if the stock snorkel starts being the bottle neck at 5000 RPM....

But for me the most noticeable thing is the lack of a increased torque in the lower RPMs.. That's what is going to be most noticeable...
k&n always dyno with the hood open...look at the videos on their site!...so probably no gains at all.

But i really dont understand the fact that pipeline type intake gains more then short ram...its true for the 370z with stillen intake which is the only one to make gains! How come ? dont have an idea:(
