I'm predicting they'll get a 13.0 or 12.9 in the 1/4.

Has to be better than that for 435 HP with 3600 lb weight. 12.7 or lower, I'd say.

435HP? Where you getting that at lol. BTW, I'm just thinking they're going to have a hard time to get the 255s to stick, if they even opt for that package. Hopefully, they don't get the base GT with 235s, and which case I would expect them to get worse numbers then the SS. I'm not doubting the car's performance in the hands of a good driver, just doubting the skill of the magazine test drivers.

They run low 13s in magazine tests, aka average drivers.

Remember that Ford will send the car that will perform the best, regardless of whether or not it's going to be the most common model of Mustang. I'm sure it'll be equipped with 3.73's and any other things to help it perform in the tests (nothing wrong with that).

True, but I stand by my statement of it going to have traction problems, even with the 255s.

The GT500 shares this problem. Lol, all the RWHP in the world wont help if you cant hook up and go.

I'm curious as to what aftermarket wheel/tire options will surface.

this number are very believable, besides they where help by K&N in their own dynos
theres no doubt, the engine is making 400+hp. By the last sentences Motor Trend used,
it seems this thing is a rocket.

motortrend-quote-
"Of course, the best news we discovered on Friday we can only hint at. We believe those dyno figures just have to be accurate, given the outrageous numbers these two 'Stangs threw down at our test track. But you'll have to check back with us bright and early Monday morning to find those out...

The nice thing about traction problems is it's just a good set of tires away from a fix.

And I have worse traction at 330 RWHP.. and I use the GT500 Goodyear Eagle F1 Tires..

The other day I got up next to an 2010 SS in traffic and chatted with him in stop and go. Cool guy, he loves the Camaro but digs the exhaust on my 05.
I have FRPP Stingers with JBA Longtubes :-)

The traffic broke and we were doing about 45 and I punched it, and the car broke loose and got 45 deg sideways on the road. Remember I have an Automatic the dude in the SS shot off to the left freaked out thought I was going to hit him. I was suprised myself, but it's all good.

With my 330 RWHP I get 12.3 @ 110 with DR's and 12.7 @ 107 on street tires my track weight is 3600 with driver so I guess the 2011 Mustang will get average 12.7 in the 1320.
