On top of that the 5.0L is going to respond to mods VERY well. And you're right you do have 6.2L. Now if I'm not mistaken the 5.0 puts out more power from less displacement. Like I said before GM engineering is getting old.

And what I'm doing here is payback for all the little Mullets who come on OUR forums and run their mouths. Honestly first you run your mouths. Then the Terminator comes and you complain about a blower. Now this comes and you all say "wait till they throw Corvette parts in 2011". You should probably stop running your mouths.

And if you can't then I'm pretty sure the 5.0 is here to shut you all up.
Cool. I am happy to see the Mustang finally put something out there that MIGHT be worth a shit. Sorry but the styling is still horrible... and its still slow. I have gotten bored beating up on all the modded Mustangs around here with my JEEP SRT-8 so maybe the new one "might" get a little closer. But in the end ITS STILL A MUSTANG, still looks like shit, still has terrible quality control, and will still be looking at my rear exhaust when I walk off from it. Go home fanboy. If one day you actually save up enough welfare checks and can afford to go buy one... then coem find me. Until then enjoy the poster on your wall.

I proudly have the 2010 V6 Camaro and MY GOD how many mustangs I whiped out!

Furthermore, I would bet you anything that my friends 2010 SS will rip the 5.0 any day , any time!

Btw, Im a CAMARO lover and I would not think a second to go on a mustang forum trying to convince the best CAMARO is better than a stang lol (wasteman!).

CAMARO 4 EVER BABY!!!!!!!
Lol your friends SS. I'm talking stock for stock. The 5.0 wins.

And I'm far from jealous. If I got offered my 99 Cobra or that POS shark looking thing you call a car. The Cobra would be gone so fast it would make your head spin.

And I would shut your mouth about your V6 because the new Duratec 3.7 in the 2011 Mustang V6 just put up 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and a quarter mile of 13.8@ 102mph.

Once again you lose.

And lets see some lap times and not just figure eight test. The camaro was behind in the figure eight before (not by much) as well but was still quicker at the track.

Whats really sad is that we still have a 6.2 which he chooses to ignore. He is going to need a supercharger (like always) to keep up when the modding starts.

Its also funny how he believes it is under rated with todays SAE certification. Simple dyno discrepancies has this guy jizzing in his pants. An why is it running the same times as a camaro if it is 200lbs lighter with 450hp...youve got to be kidding me.

And we still arent comparing 2011 to 2011. The camaro would need a simple swap to 3.73 gears (like the mustang has) and it would be faster.

He must be about 17 years old I am guessing LOL

How sad.
I couldn't agree more.

Your a real nice guy. I can tell you don't know what it's about to be a car guy. I wouldn't be blowing off when you list a 99 cobra as your car in your sig. They were nothing special. 320hp for a "special svt cobra" when a stock ss camaro made 325HP. Plus this was the car that ford said had 320Hp and it didn't. Many lawsuits came out of that little lie. Maybe that's why ford under rates the mustang now.

Sorry dude mine never needed the recall. 320hp and 320tq from a 4.6L. Like I said you can go on about the LS series and still my 4.6L puts up numbers within a couple horsepower and tq of your 5.7L.

And yeah they under rate the Mustang. Thats why the new 5.0 makes around 450 horse.

So thats what you resort to a video on youtube.

I guess it sucks when you're on the losing end of an argument.

Yep, and it only took Ford until the 2011 model year to figure out how to not completely underpower a muscle car.

BTW lets not forget 5.0L vs 6.2L?
That's right, don't forget... there's no replacement for displacement!

Recall or not, they still where not very fast. Most of the guys I knew during that time ripped the 4.6 out and used it for a boat anchor if they want their mustangs to really go fast.

Good lord, read every one I posted in the first link. I've had seat time in a 2SS/RS with and without the 21" wheels. It feels no different then my Stang on rough roads.

Let me start you off with Autoblog.

"As far as the never ending live rear end vs. independent suspension argument goes, we're saying the following: The 2011 Ford Mustang GT sports the very best solid rear axle in the world. We'd rather have the best solid axle than a mediocre multi-point rear. Hint, hint, Chevy. 'Nuff said."

You're not here to debate anything... How old are you? 12?

I am here we are debating. The tone is negative and directed towards me.

I haven't called anyone names (okay the use of mullet a few times) I have presented my facts in a calm and rational manner.

I just think its hilarious to see you Camaro fanboys get all upset about this. Honestly you were on your high horse when the Camaro was beating the Mustang.

I guess you can dish it out but you can't take it.
