But we are considering opening the track for Test and Tunes on Friday for an extra $30.00 So, you'd have to pay the $50.00 for Saturday but if you arrive early on Friday you can pay an extra 30 for some more tracktime.
The track has their normal open Test and Tune scheduled for Friday 6-11PM. Are you considering reserving the track and only letting the short list (340 ish) drivers run on Friday or will it be open to the non-340 ish members?

Would be nice if the non-340 ish had a chance to run on Friday.

Okay, I REALLY REALLY don't want to go through 277 pages worth of info (though I'm sure its a great read ) For those of us that are . . .unexperieced on the track. . .will this whole set up be user friendly?? Can there be something like a "newbie bracket" for those of us that have never stepped foot on a track before. . .

I don't know if we'll have different levels of experience...It may be difficult to organize given the sheer number of people...

Though -- I wouldn't worry about it too much. You can watch 50-100 people make a run before you get in line. And there will be PLENTY of folks there who've done it before as well...ask around.

I'm definitely wanting to do this, since we're actually getting there Thursday night and haven't had the Camaro on the track yet. Haven't had time to get it out yet. want to practice with and without the launch control.

Plus there is the mobile Dyno, Autocross and the Vendors Alley. I'm sure we'll have some no shows. And it's unlikely to that all 340 cars will line up at once for the drags and that all 340 will want to run all day. I'm guessing a few will make a few runs then move on to the other events.

You should know that the track has test and tune up on their website for anyone from 7 to 11 for 25 bucks!

Woops, I may have had the numbers wrong.... I will talk to the track and see what the deal is... Maybe they just opened it any way....

It was really their call, we were just wondering if we'd have enough interested to justify it.
