Becky can you halp me some more? Apparently I can track my Camaro (NVFP2X) thru the after build process. But I need a rail car number. Myu dealer has never been asked this in 20 + years, and knows nothing about this tracking. What do I do next to keep the watch on my Camaro. Thanks in advance for any help you can shed my way.

Ask your salesperson to call GM Dealer Business center and ask for shipping status. When they talk to that person they can ask them for the rail car #. You can then call CSX 877-744-7279 - prompt #5 then prompt #3. You ask for location, give it the car #, say done and then listen for it's location. There is a chance that the car could be sent over on a truck. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

Becky what does it mean if it says shipped by truck? do i get it faster or it's just being sent somewhere for someone else to pick up.

When it goes by truck, usually it's sent to a distribution center. In this area, it's Dearborn. But that's the same for rail cars or trucks. In general, coming by truck can be a little faster.
