Anybody else notice that almost every professionally photographed watch is set to about 10:10? Is there a reason for that?

Hell of a good eye there man- that is strange as all hell. The fact the seconds hand is also at the :35 second mark on 90-95% of them make's it even more odd.

Now its quite possible that this thread has merged into a generic watch thread, which is fine on its own. But "which watch to wear with my Camaro" is down right Richard Simmons IMO. How about which purse to take out with your Camaros? Really.

I guess it is only a concern to those that also worry about what color shoes to wear and purse to carry when driving their Camaro

They come with a warranty, man. You just have to register them.

Either way, I'm only 22 so Fossil works just fine for me. I currently wear their Twist Black Dial with a metal band. I don't think it's available at the moment.

I do get why people like Omega and Rolex, but here is something on this very topic from this month's GQ. I quote:

"Unless you nerd out on Swiss precision and underwater dials, you don't have to drop thousands on a timepiece. Any of these tell time just fine--and they're inspired by the Cartier Tank, the Rolex Air King, and the more modern Chanel J12." The watches pictured are a Citizen Eco-Drive ($135), a Seiko that I don't see the name of ($124), and a Fossil ($115).

I've had the same watch (a fossil) for 11 years now. This is the one I currently want:
